Criteria

Brookstone’s strategy is to invest in companies that offer significant opportunities for value creation through internal growth, strategic acquisitions and improvements in operating performance. We believe significant opportunities exist with both public and private companies.

We have the flexibility to consider opportunities which other investors may not, including: i) companies with moderately high customer concentration; ii) companies that are marginally profitable albeit with other strong characteristics; and iii) companies with low asset bases but solid cash flow.

The following is a general outline of our investment criteria. In today’s investment climate, however, our areas of emphasis will vary to reflect our entrepreneurial and flexible approach.
