Instone, operating in Millstone Township, New Jersey, is the largest master distributor of Owens Corning Cultured Stone in the United States. Cultured Stone is a light-weight molded concrete product that imitates the physical appearance of natural stone. In 2008, Instone added Semco, a thin veneer stone producer, Napa Valley Cast Stone, a manufacturer of pre-cast concrete, and Fire Rock, a manufacturer of fireplaces to its family of products. Instone’s primary customers are dealers, jobbers, installers, and small wholesalers. In 2007 and 2008, Instone significantly expanded its geographical territories stretching from Florida to Maine.
